Card Made By Using Spellbinders Lacey Squares & Martha Stewart Chicks Border Punch

Card a53:- Take a white A6 card and edge with a 'Black' Promarker. Using the Martha Stewart 'Chicks' punch and starting at the 'spine' of the card, punch twice. Reverse the card to repeat this process, which should make the punching symmetrical. Cut a mat from black card stock, slightly smaller than A6 and glue to the inside of the front of the card, behind the chicks. Using Nestabilities 'Labels Eight' die four, (one being the largest), cut a mat from white card. Cut a mat using 'Labels Eight', die three and black card. Make a bow from co-ordinating ribbon. Make a slit in the 'spine' of the card, at the position that you want the ribbon to pass through. Lay a line of double sided tape on the card, where you wish to position the ribbon. Attach the ribbon and push one end through the slit in the 'spine' of the card. Use double sided tape to secure both ends of the ribbon, inside the card. Glue the bow and the message mats into place. Add Peel offs.

The Martha Stewart Chicks
Card a52 :- Take a cream A6 card and edge with Brilliance 'Sunflower Yellow'. Using the Martha Stewart 'Chicks' punch, punch four times from yellow card stock. Take a Promarker 'Lush Green' and colour the grass underneath the chicks. Using Nestabilities 'Labels Two' die four, (one being the largest), cut a mat using the Brenda Walton 12x12 speciality papers. Using the yellow card stock, that the chicks were punched out of, and 'Labels Two', die five, cut a message mat. Edge with Brilliance 'Pearlescent Thyme' and stamp 'happy Easter' from the Spellbinders Nestability compatible Clear Stamp set 'Design Label Accents'. Cut two 1 inch strips, from the Brenda Walton papers and glue into place on the A6 card. Position the two punched and coloured 'Chicks' onto the strips, making sure that they line up. Add message mats. Use co-ordinating Prima flowers and brad accents to finish the card. As my designs tend to develop as I go along, I put the brads into the flowers and then glue them into place, using Pinflair Glue Gel . This allows me to reposition and arrange the flowers without ruining the project.
